On Friday, November 18, 2011, MAX, the MCCC, the Alabama Department of Environmental Management, Legacy, Inc., and Ecovery provided a way for Montgomery to safely recycle old electronics instead of sending them to the landfill.
MAX members and area citizens brought electronic items to the parking lot at Paterson Field in Montgomery from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Convenient, drive-thru recycling service was provided with volunteers to help unload items.
A special thank you goes to MAX associates, United States Air Force personnel, and students from Montgomery’s Alabama Christian Academy who volunteered to work the event.
