Montgomery State Farmers Market located on Federal Drive is open everyday throughout the year from 7 a.m. – 5 p.m., even on Sundays.
While many of the vendors change throughout the year, Wright’s produce is one of the mainstays at this market. Owner Jean Wright recounted a time when Governor Wallace visited her roadside stand in Prattville for boiled peanuts, and invited her to come down and participate in the state’s new venture of the Farmers Market. Wright’s has been part of the market for 23 years now.
Wright’s has a relationship with local growers from across the region who supply their produce. Wright’s also has 8 different growers that provide a variety of plants year round.
